Disasters have been all around us lately. The Icelandic volcano eruption that shut down Europe and flights around the world. The Nashville floods are still calming down and kicking many families out of their homes. The terrible and prolific oil spill in the gulf killing ocean and wild life. The war engulfing the Middle-East. It is all tragic happenings of our world today. We can't stop nature, and it seems that we definitely cannot stop humans from making mistakes in the name of money. We obviously have so much to learn. These are all disasters that lead me to think about what is going to happen in my future. What are my kids going to see?
Will they see a disaster like in the movies, 2010 or The Road? Are they going to have struggle for water and food as a norm? I know that one cannot linger on things such as this for it will make them nuts. It's hard not to when all you hear on the news is disasters, murder, and fighting. I have no solutions. I have nothing, except for can't we just make our society and communities better with being giving. Shouldn't we stop abusing our world with machines and greed. Why don't we just look into the religions we practice, and take the good from them. It's ridiculous that the human race can't stick together for the good of our world.
Anyways, that is just my thoughts at the moment. I will surely get back to the fun part of the world in the next blog. Hope you are all well and making the world a better place.

- I am originally from the Midwest. Grew up in a small town, with a big backyard. I was tormented throughout high school by many mean people. The torment put a fire in my belly to make something of myself and move to New York City. I did just that a year after graduating from Bowling Green State University. The year in between was spent in lovely Toledo, Ohio. I moved to New York City to become a dancer and writer. When I first arrived in New York I worked two jobs at a time, and sometimes three to make rent and bills. My first three years were the absolutely most challenging years of my life. I learned a great many things from struggling. I finally got to break free of working so much when my wonderful Fiance', now my Husband, moved to New York three years later. I had started working full-time at a Luxury Cosmetics store and was beginning to work just as much as I did before. Like every job before, I learned a lot about different types of people, and I picked up some amazing skills in business, make-up artistry, and event planning. That experience was really amazing for the entire four years I was there. I am currently finishing up my first fiction novel.
